Flo OG seeds. Man, where do I even start?
These little bastards are like the quiet kid in class who ends up being the most interesting person you’ve ever met. At first glance—sure, they don’t scream anything flashy. But plant them, give them a few weeks, and suddenly you’re looking at something that feels like it’s got a soul. No joke. Deep purple hues, that sweet-spicy aroma that hits you sideways, and a high that doesn’t just knock you out—it takes you on a damn field trip.
I’ve grown a lot of strains. Some are needy divas, others are chill but boring. Flo OG? Somewhere in between. She’s moody, but not impossible. Likes a bit of space, hates overwatering, and if you treat her right—she’ll reward you with buds that look like they were dipped in sugar and rolled in velvet. Sticky, dense, and just . . . weirdly beautiful. Like nature showing off.
Genetics-wise, it’s a mashup of DJ Short’s Flo and OG Kush. Which sounds like a gimmick at first, but nah—it works. Flo brings that cerebral, floaty headspace. OG Kush, on the other hand, drags you back down to earth with a body buzz that feels like warm cement. Together? You’re high but functional. Or functional-ish. Depends on your tolerance, I guess.
Flavor? That’s where it gets strange. First hit tastes like berries and incense. Second hit—bam—diesel and pine. Third hit? Who even knows. I’ve had people say it reminds them of old libraries, or wet leather, or their grandma’s attic. It’s got layers. Mood swings. And I love that.
Yields aren’t massive, but they’re solid. You won’t be filling warehouses, but you’ll have enough to keep your friends asking, “Yo, you got any more of that Flo?” And you’ll lie. Say you’re out. Because you’re not sharing this batch. Not this time.
Indoor growers—she stays compact. Bushy. Responds well to topping, LST, all that jazz. Outdoors? She can stretch a bit, but still manageable. Just watch for mold late in the season—those dense colas don’t breathe well if it gets too humid. Learned that the hard way.
Honestly, I think Flo OG is one of those strains that doesn’t get enough love because it doesn’t scream for attention. It just does its thing. Quietly. Confidently. And when you finally smoke it—you get it. You really get it.
Anyway. If you’re looking for something with character—something that doesn’t feel mass-produced or soulless—plant these seeds. See what happens. Or don’t. More for me.
